Secret hobbies are probably the most interesting and telling part of person. A man who runs a shelter for abused and maltreated puppies who secretly likes to trap and then skin rats with his bare hands is probably not a person you want to be friends with. A man who runs a sketchy tattoo shop who likes to draw flowers on ceramic bowls as a side hobby is most defiantly friend material. It’s because secret hobbies are so revealing that I’ve often wondered what my secret hobbies say about me. I’ve got some not-so-secret secret hobbies like anime and Asian dramas (which are really just prime-time Asian TV shows), this blog, and watching infomercials, but I’ve also got some secret secret hobbies. Among these secret-secret hobbies are knitting, sowing, playing Viva Pinata, The Sims, writing code for JAVA & CSS/XHTML, and collecting wine bottles (despite the fact I hate wine). Looking at this list of things, I can only conclude I was somebody’s techno-geek wino grandmother who knitted them ugly sweaters for Christmas in my past life. It really doesn’t look to good for my personality when you look at this list, so perhaps that why I keep them secret.
Not really sure why I bothered with this post, but I really just felt like writing something. I think I’ll post a picture of something I knitted in my next post or something.
A special edit for Katie: yes, I also have this problem where I compulsively steal pens. D0n’t judge me.
